It's too often used as a checklist or a compliance standard. This creates a false sense of security: certifications are obtained even though the management system doesn't align with the organization. This <em>needs<\/em> to change to maintain trust in ISO 27001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Because I also worked as a <strong>software-engineer<\/strong> , <strong>implemented ISO 27001<\/strong> as a (C)ISO myself and have an <strong>Executive MBA<\/strong> I can easily switch between technical, audit and governance perspectives.
